I’ve got a brand new home!
Talk about a nice Christmas present. I’m so excited I was laying about one minute with the rest of my brothers and sisters and next thing you know I’m in this very flowery store.
Or what my new masters like to call the G-Ray Florist store. I was placed in a cage though and I didn’t like that very much. They kept playing hide and seek with me. First they would place me in the cage close it and then run off to hide….which ended up with me whining because I didn’t want to be alone!!!
Well let me tell you about myself.
I am a Retriever Labrador. I am about 1 month and 2 weeks old. Got black fur as my soft shiny coat and a patch of white under my neck and tummy. My dads the Retriever and my mom’s the Labrador….at least I hope I didn’t mix it up.
How I got my name Abbey?
My masters had to listen to this girl (she was quite perky! though I couldn’t really care
) that was bounding up and down insisting on this name because it is apparently the name of this really smart German Shephard, Abby, that had acted in "I Am Legend" as Sam . Whoa dogs can act?? So that’s how my name came about, although the spelly is a bit different.
Then my new masters left me in the store and went to buy me food… I think…because when I was brought back to this humongous house, I had a number of things to eat and chew on. Not to mention a new collar for my oh so cute neck. I just love running about in the grass… wheeeeee
But I couldn’t eat anything anything until after a….bath!
Actually I didn’t mind that so much, I enjoyed it really so I allowed them to just bathe, scrub and hose me down. Ooooo cold! They placed me in a bucket! I really needed the bath because seems I had a number of ticks on me. Eeeewww!! Then they used this loud noisy thing called a hairdryer to dry me. Hmm.. new to me.
But after putting me in the house, they kept pushing me out and saying…."Abbey no!" or "Abbey out"….Sheeesh.
Well then after all that I got a tad bit sleey so decided to take a nap.
Which I think I need one now..
Abbey out.
